Landscape Weed Prevention Program

A properly maintained landscape is essential to any business or homeowner serious about having a nice clean looking property.  We have both granular and liquid applications to reduce and eliminate weeds in unwanted areas.  Don't mess around with figuring out mixing ratios or how much to put down.  Let the professionals do it.  If you sign up for our Landscape Weed Prevention Program we will get a program put together that will best suit your property's needs and implement that program throughout the season to ensure controlled weed growth.  Listed below are the two types of applications we can do to get you the results you desire.  Some properties will only need one or the other, but most need a combination of the two to ensure the best results.

Flower and Plant Friendly Weed Application

For some landscape beds, or the garden enthusiast round isn't an option.  So we offer a safer version that will eliminate 90% of the weeding.  We started using this product 3 years ago and are simply amazed at the results.  This does not harm established flowers or shrubs and can be spread right over the top of them.  If you have ever heard or used Preen, which only controls about 11 weeds, the product we use is commercial-grade and controls over 100 weeds and undesirable grasses.

Roundup Application

Roundup spraying eliminates the need to pick weeds, and in most cases, the number of weeds to pick, or the area that they are required to weed is too large by hand.  Most people do not want to mess around with chemicals, whether it be buying it at the store, mixing it, spraying it, storing it, and disposing of it properly.  Leave it up to us.  We offer bare-ground sterilization in early summer and late summer. Areas that we treat: sidewalk cracks, parking lot and driveway cracks, landscape beds, along fences that cannot be trimmed, rock retaining walls/ledges, garden plots, gravel driveways. 

Shrub Trimming

Shrub trimming can be one of the most overlooked areas when maintaining a property.  Most shrubs need to be trimmed at least once a year, but often times properties put in new landscaping and forget about the maintenance part of it.  There are several benefits to pruning, one being irregular growing habits can be corrected.  It can also bring in an earlier bloom period and it can cause flower and fruit size to skyrocket.  Along with those benefits it also reduces the chances of disease and pests taking over as well.  Our pruning equipment is continually sharpened and adjusted to provide your plants the best cut possible.  Our commitment to buying only the best equipment available further ensures good results.  Even with regular pruning, foundation plantings have a "lifetime" of about 15 years.

Garden Tilling

Prepare your soil for planting with our professional tilling service.  Whether you're starting a new garden or getting an old garden ready for the growing season, Tony's Lawn Service LLC is ready to get that first step started for you.  Garden tilling can be back-breaking work, but we have the proper equipment to get the job done right.  We'll get your garden ready so all you have to do is plant it and before you know it, you'll have delicious homegrown produce.  Not only that but it will be a fraction of the cost of store-bought produce, but there aren't any added unknown chemicals and you know exactly where everything was grown.
